Audi

Internal wires and components of an Audi during an auto repair.

We love Audis. They’re sleek, luxurious, and drive really well. Audi’s are also one of our favorites cars to repair.

Most Audi cars have a 2-liter turbo engine that’s very powerful, great for fuel economy, and drives awesome. This is a great engine and one of the many reasons we love Audis.

Audis are more expensive than some other brands of cars, but they offer a lot of features and benefits. Their service and maintenance tend to be less expensive than other European luxury cars, too.

Audi is a German luxury car manufacturer that was founded in 1909. It is part of the Volkswagen Group, and is known for its high-performance cars, such as the R8 and RS6. Audi’s slogan is “Lead by technology,” or “Vorsprung dutch Technik” in German.

Audi offers a variety of luxury sedans, SUVs, and wagons. Some common models are the A3, A4, A5, A6, R8, Q5, Q7, SQ5, SQ7, and RS4. Audis are reliable, well-built vehicles.

Audi cars are also known for their Quattro all-wheel drive system. This all-wheel drive is pretty amazing, but you’ll have to service the gearboxes to maintain it.

While we love the 2.0L turbo in Audis, it has a few common problems that you’ll likely have to address eventually. The Audi 2-liter turbo engine has problems with the timing chain. It also commonly has problems with the water pump leaking. This is a great engine, but those are big problems. Replacing the timing chain and water pump on an Audi is an important job that will ensure that engine keeps firing as it should for many more miles.

Audis also have some electrical problems from time to time, and the occasional Audi needs transmission repairs. Audi vehicles also need general maintenance such as wheels, tires, timing belts, timing chains, check engine light, failed emissions, as well as other general maintenance and repairs.

Several of our technicians have spent time working in Audi dealerships, and our service department collectively has 119 years of experience working on vehicles of all makes and models. In that time we’ve learned to repair just about any issue, on any make or model, including Audi.

We have the factory-level Audi scan tool, the Vag-Com. Schedule your Audi service today, and we’ll hook it up to your car to get started.
